This manga is obviously objectifying, but there's a part of it that feels... so raw? Like, there's a deep unfairness permeating at the center of it, a hatred of how these girls are treated, of how the system itself is built. Of how awful and disgusting it all is.
It does a great job of building tension by going between the absurd and the realistic.

In a way the usual run of the mill violence is basic, but sexual violence being the driving force against the heroes who should in essence represent all that's good in the world ends up giving it more bite without it going too far into the edgy for the sake of edgy side of things.

Also, it's an underdog story for the most part. It's easy to root for the heroes when the odds are stacked against them.

One of them will end up on trial, so how do the nun or the samurai get defeated?
I put my bet on the nun magical girl causing her defeat for some "i like to see pure hearted goodie two shoes being defiled".
Or either that monster have some kind of anti-cut power that make blade useless against him, so justifying why the dispatch magical girl decided to refuse her involvement. But this would make the samurai girl's defeat entirely her fault. Are we gonna witness Misago's first defeat?

Somehow this chapter feels darker than the rest
Makes sense

we got played-straight molestation involving a character who would suffer far worse punishment for retaliating against a percieved civillian, who would be part of the same population she is trying to protect

and the monster straight up killed the civillian aiding her. I think thats actually the first non-hentai-style casualty in the series so far

It really just says the quiet part of hentai out loud

It's because they're not people, they're property. Good ol slavery.
