i've already bought Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal on Steam, but i'm wondering if i should just wait until Persona 4 Revival to play 4. it'll certainly give me time to catch up with the Cunny no Kiseki series in the meantime...

Just play p4G P4R doesn’t have yuri lowenthal so it’s the worse way to play persona 4

no, this is my first Persona game EVER (though i have listened to the OST well before now so i'm basically a veteran)

Could always just play both versions if you think you'll really like it. That's what I did back in the day with Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, it was a fun experience to notice the differences between the two.

perhaps if it was years apart (i hardly ever replay or play remastered versions of games otherwise). i'd feel inclined to read every bit of dialogue too (as Revival is a new game).

relevantly, i'm glad that P3R doesn't have a ton of ever-changing missable NPC dialogue like Trails does (though Trails has warped my standards a bit). checking every single NPC in Liberl and Crossbell for minor dialogue changes after every story beat does something to a man...

Yes. Just don't forget about the play order.

Yeah, I can see that you tainted the bun with it. I've had chilli really few times, but two weeks ago some friends and I wanted to celebrate everyone had holidays so we went to a Foster's Hollywood and I had enough chilli to call a day. Of course, as sides, I was raised well so I asked for a dish for myself, so I got a whole serving of ribs. Of course, I went with more chilli next to them.

Not sure I'd get ribs from anywhere with 'Hollywood' in their name, but if I left now I could be at (the original) Joe's KC BBQ in time for lunch, so I'm a bit spoiled.

As for coneys (or 'chili dogs', if you hail from the South), there used to be an excellent place called George the Chili King here in town that made what I consider the standard for these (they also rated a mention in DSM native and author Bill Bryson's memoirs) - see example below, which came served on a piece of waxed tray liner paper if you ate at the counter. The chili was not good if you ate it stand-alone, but was the perfect chili for a coney. Sadly, they closed up during Covid and show no signs of ever reopening, and while there are a couple other places in town that do a decent coney, they're not George's.
