Anyway, none of those nobleman are nobleman, they bring shame to the blue blood. No real nobleman will act that rude toward a noble lady.

Ugh this isn't updated quick enough to prolong this cliffhanger. We all know Maya didn't kill the MC off screen and there will be some deus ex machina pull to "save the day". Neither Maya nor Gray have the status to win in a "he said, she said" with a noble of that status, but Maya still didn't corraborate the story of Gray being a thief (and slightly defended him). This is just noise. Uninteresting noise at that. There's no real romantic tension here as the other party is made off too mention as an actual villian. It's also too one sided to be interesting conflict (overwhelmingly in the villian's favor until the last minute when the MC saves the day) and there's not even political drama here. It'd actually be really interesting if the political marriage was absolutely necessary for the territory and to not take part in it the main characters would have to live with harming the welfare of the people. As a romantic drama, I'm pretty this would satisfy those types a lot more if this was about a normal noble (not absolute evil villian) engaged to the female lead whose secretly in love with her attendant and they have to navigate that. Maybe even just straight up make it an open secret. Explore loveless political marriages where the people involved are openly "involved" with other people.

There's a lot of ways to execute this type of story. That said this story has already chosen what type of story it is. Like 10 chapters ago. This isn't a high stakes political drama or super dramatic tragic romance. It's a quirky rom com Manga that's probably most fantasy in how over the top the character personalities are.

Sadly, there’s currently nothing to enjoy about this. The unsteady release schedule kills any momentum it’s trying to create. Hopefully this is over soon. But I highly suspect that the manga ends as soon as Gray saves his lady.

Just seems like they drop a chapter whenever the author/illustrator get around to it. First few chapters were weekly then became monthly and after a 4 month break, the last couple chapters were 2 months gaps.

Definitely the author and/or illustrator, not the translator.
