This is how the mom unlocks super saiyan. You saw how angry she was at Miyuki when all she knew about was the cheating. But put all this on top of it? She might be more angry than goku when krillin got blicked on Namek.

Also, appreciate how Eiji is recognizing that his love for Miyuki is gone and is growing for Ai. Rather than going with the “no! That’s not what it is” trope and ignoring it, he’s accepting it. So far this is a pretty well written story. It’s a tough read for me in the aspect that I hate NTR, but fascinating to watch the get back and seeing how much better for the MC Ai is.

OK so I’m through the first 2 volumes of the LN, and seeing the panel of how he only feels anger and disappointment for Miyuki hits even harder when you finally read how he mercilessly puts any delusion Miyuki had about getting back together with him out of its misery when she finally confronts him. An absolutely BRUTAL, yet calm rejection. And then reading the interaction through Ai’s POV shows how indifferent and cold Eiji is towards Miyuki in that moment. It’s the most devastating rejection I think I’ve ever witnessed. It was excellent writing.
