Here is a little spoiler from the latest WN ch that will make your day... Eiji and Ai are spending the night together watching a meteor shower, but first she jumped him in the bath to break the ice, then she made massive moves on him to the point that they agree to sleep together! The last line clearly hints that they will have sex for the first time...

Over the years I’ve seen people get upset whenever someone calls suicide selfish, but the reality is just that, it is.
No matter who you are, someone cares about you, and would be absolutely devastated if you were gone, even if you push them away.
I once heard suicide described as a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and that’s stuck with me for a long time.
Worse thing of that (Notice Miyuki isn't even among those who would be effected by his action, THAT'S how far she destroyed things between them that she doesn't realize it fully yet, it makes what Kondo does later THAT MUCH KARMA for her! We do know she would be HUGELY negatively effected had he killed or tried to! But the fact she abandoned him by not telling the truth along with what she did with Kondo! It's no shocker Eiji has lost all trust in her! Worse thing is for now, the stupid girl can't see this! She just assumes she is HATED, when the only one that hates her is Ms. Aono and for RIGHTFUL reasons! Poor Woman...if she knew Miyuki would cause this....she'd have never befriended her mother in the first place...and that's the worst of it! Ms. Amada is innocent...wait till she discovers her daughter who she cherished, loved and trusted....was no different then her Sperm Donor, the man who abandoned them both...only WORSE. That man at least didn't make excuses for himself being scum, he just left and never looked back with ANY regret! He knew what he did was wrong, and never was sorry for it! Miyuki is just a miserable POS that makes excuses all while digging things DEEPER because well, putting this in spoilers!
Miyuki is lying to her as well! Ms. Amada has no clue she and Eiji broke up, she was cheating, NOR she was responsible, I think the worse thing of it, is when she DOES confront Miyuki later and "meets Kondo" despite his attempt to "hide" his character, the fact he got her daughter picked up along with himself which is WHY they meet in the first place and his appearance reveals abit on WHY Miyuki fell for that POS in the first place....she compares him to Miyuki's father! Hinting to us the reader that apart of Miyuki might have still had Daddy Issues which only HELPED Kondo "seduce her easily" because it means she "lingerly" yearned for her father's love and attention DESPITE knowing he could care LESS and has never looked in or contacted her since he abandoned her and her mother a decade ago! Though we know that's only APART of things and the major reason was "she wanted to play around and thought she could hide the affair and never get caught....too bad this is what Kondo REALLY WANTED knowing who send him at her and his own FETISH in ruining "good girls!"
Is that Kondo didn't even do this on a Whim, he did it on behalf of the President of Eiji's Club he was thrown out of because of this incident, His Sempai Tachibana. All because Eiji was a better writer then her as a writer. She intially tried to do to him what Kondo did to Miyuki, and it failed cause unlike "Still a child" Miyuki, Eiji RESPECTED his love for her and OBVIOUSLY never bit. Another part of this being done is SPITE since she was pissed abit that Eiji spurned her as well. She did take pleasure abit in his state when the girl he "jilted her for" turned out to "not share teh same sense of loyality that he had for her! Even though Kondo is a minion and fuck buddy of her, even SHE was shocked "such a smart girl" would be so EASY to not see Kondo for the scumbag that he is, she does as well, not that she isn't any better if not WORSE then him as she is TIED to his first victim Eri as she ALSO was the one who send him after her to ruin her life, same reason as with Eiji...Eri was a better STUDENT then her and so she had Kondo get her to ruin her so that she could overtake her! Tachibana is a miserable person ruled by her Envy she has no interest in controlling, and this time, it will ruin her just as Kondo's LUST will ruin him! Lust by the way for him isn't the sex, it's the DESIRE to having the power to ruin lives like he did to Eri and Miyuki, with Endou and Eiji being casualties that added SALT to the main event which was the girls finding out they were just his toys, and they stupidly let him do it! This time both will be ruined and wish they never messed with the guys!
The only silver lining if Eiji had jumped.....is that Endou, the "friend" of Kondo's first victim Eri, who was already going after him for this shit he did to Eiji already with getting him targeted and bullied. Would have gone NUCLEUR on him and later Tachibana as he was the FIRST while destroying Kondo's life to realize he was too stupid and WAY FAR from Miyuki's circles to have had any reason to target her on his own and realize someone put him up to it. leading him to find out about Tachibana later

Will be when he dumps Miyuki....like a fool because he needed her help at that point, he only does so because the GOAT revealed Eri to her and his MAJOR disrespect giving Eri a Bracelet she gave Kondo! Showing Miyuki what a moron she was for EVER thinking Kondo was ever a good person, much less DARING to compare Kondo to Eiji! I think the bigger damage is that she ruined her life and hurt her loved ones for him...and will never truly come to terms on "why she did that!" because she knows the truth, as all "I never meant to cheat" cheaters do but try to avoid acknowledging....their poor character and with HER especially "her childish attempt to have her cake and eat it" believing she'd never get caught!
We saw hints of "his frown" back when the Teacher cornered him in the Interview! Can't wait to see his face of PURE FEAR
When Endou gets him and Miyuki picked up by the cops.....and later Ms. Aono files a report on him and because of his stupidity in not remaining calm, leads to an ARREST publically at school that goes A LONG WAY in DESTROYING the image along with that happening AS EIJI WAS GETTING AN AWARD to destroying the lie that Eiji was a villain and Kondo was a hero!
Yeah, Eiji likely acknowledges this as he showed in this chapter. Reminder at that point, his mind was in a dark place, especially when the bullies were "thinking" about targeting his family's Diner esculating their bullying (Can't wait for Ms. Aono's WRATH to come down)
Endou's as well, he SPECIFICALLY is the reason the BULLIES IN QUESTION don't get away with their actions! Even IF they were pawns of Kondo, they CHOSE to act on his and Miyuki (without her permission, but that doesn't make her any less responsibile by her staying silent and leaving it all for Kondo, so her BAD END being dragged under the waves with him is also her fault) and the best part is Endou only targeted them because he wanted to DESTROY Kondo's Support System of his minions, and PILLARS which was Eri and Miyuki! None of them MATTERED to Endou in the slightest and if they did with the Soccer Club specifically, it was their part in harassing Eiji!

Light Novel Volume 1, Chapter 6. The last section from Eiji's mom's perspective is where the manga is currently at. Both Yuki Kitsuneko and Luminare Translations are working on it, so you can pick your favorite translator.
If you really want to stick with the web novel, then pick up at the end of Chapter 30. The manga follows the light novel, though, which is edited, more polished, and is overall the better read. Still, the web novel is also being updated, so you might want to switch to it once you've read all 4 volumes of the light novel released so far.

Don't forget Endou, who would have been FAR WORSE on Kondo and his "side" or might have just skipped to just KILLING KONDO if Eiji had jumped! Kondo and his should count themselves lucky Endou focused on ruining them in this case. And best part is all of them meant NOTHING to Endou, his target was ALWAYS Kondo, they were just him "clearing up anyone who would support or protect the POS" essentially ISOLATING HIM from his minions! And Miyuki counts as a "minion" because lets be real, she is the cause of all of this, Kondo would have no power to turn the school against Eiji using Ritsu if Miyuki never got involved with him, hell Ritsu THINKS she's ruining Eiji on "behalf of Miyuki" meaning if Miyuki opened her TRAP and told the truth, Ritsu wouldn't have done any of what she did, even though part of Ritsu is a POS as well! Ritsu was her female friend, but in the end, it comes down to and she's the one to call it out on Miyuki as she blames HER for her explusion later, "were they EVER really friends?!" Which is true! Miyuki never had he NERVE to tell her otherwise, so Ritsu attached herself to her, and Ritsu only did so because Miyuki was popular! They were False friends and Ritsu HATED Eiji because she deep down KNEW THIS and decried Eiji hoping Miyuki would dump him and so she could continue to convince HERSELF of her own lie that they were "truly friends!" Oh, trust me, son : I don't buy AT ALL into the whole "Forgiveness for Bullies" BS to begin with, as a wise man once said :

Some works out there are really trying to make you believe that if
"Goody Valuelife" (who never killed anybody before, is a devoted vegan and understands the importance of diplomacy first before even considering violence)
kills "Hitlerich Purevil" (who genocides entire races daily just to hear them scream, eats live puppies at every meal and personally rape-killed Goody Family/ Lover/Pet while forcing him to watch), SOMEHOW, the blood on their hands will be considered the exact same amount !!
