holy update
Yeah for younger people it does for the paternal bonding. You hear about step mothers or fathers who are incredibly loving, gentle and respectful of their step kids who still get rejected because they aren't their real father or mother.Do you think sharing blood makes you bond with someone quicker?
How did he get sunburnt on the forehead if he was wearing a had most of the event? A little run was enough to melt his face off?
I like how simple her motivations are - anything that comes with free food is good enough.
Part of that is because the kids refuse to let a step parent "replace" their real parent. In Minori's case, she never had a father figure to attach to until the mc arrived, so that's not much of an issue. She still considers him a bit of an outsider like when she told him to bud out when she got into a fight with her mom, but that barrier is slowly dropping.Yeah for younger people it does for the paternal bonding. I'm 99% sure it's purely platonic because she seems to be aware that he loves her mom and she has the tanned kid in her grade who seems interested in her.Hmm...Can't tell if this is just father/daughter duo thing or she's eyeing him as something more than that...

THANK you. This was a good wholesome chapter. It's like when people see a loving couple in a series and start ranting about "NTR when".The author would fuck up the entire story if Minori was a romantic interest for Takaharu. Nothing about any aspect of the plot to this point suggests that there's anything but parental/child bonding between the two of them, to the point that Natsuki was introduced to give Minori a counterpart as someone her age that could further ground her to this new life.
the people screaming "oyakodon" and "Usagi Drop" are just porn-brained readers who can't see a relationship between two people and imagine it is anything but sexual.
I have learned by now to NEVER trust a mangaka writing a wholesome found parenthood story.Usagi Drop fans in the comments fucking hell
Cut them some slack, they prob don't have any parent-children experience to relate to.The author would fuck up the entire story if Minori was a romantic interest for Takaharu.
