Part of that is because the kids refuse to let a step parent "replace" their real parent. In Minori's case, she never had a father figure to attach to until the mc arrived, so that's not much of an issue. She still considers him a bit of an outsider like when she told him to bud out when she got into a fight with her mom, but that barrier is slowly dropping.

THANK you. This was a good wholesome chapter. It's like when people see a loving couple in a series and start ranting about "NTR when".
The line between "joke" and "not a joke" with these comments is way too damn thin. Anyone who genuinely reads this as "she's into him" needs to be careful - that's the kind of warped mindset that will honestly damage real relationships in their lives.
