Hikari is constantly on the fence betwen being a dormat and an actual cuck.
Yami is is constantly making herself miserable and causing problems for others because she doesn't want help but also doesn't go away.
And Yuu is the single most hateable MC in a romance "fluff" series. Says he has a crush on someone, dates another girl. Says he has a crush on someone, but also that he would give her alongside everyone else away to "help" an ex-girlfriend that doesn't want to be helped. Ending up with him isn't a reward for either because he'll just start prioritizing the other girl, it's a punishment.

It's just ragebait for hatereading.

They're not blaming him by telling him where he screwed up in all this and they literally tell Yuu the reasons he's an idiot, which: (1) it was wildly insensitive of him to go see Aya alone if he was in love w/ Hikari, even if Hikari told him to, but Yuu never thinks 2 steps ahead on how his actions will effect other people, which Aya also yelled at him for (2) even after all of this, he's still saying/thinking he's not important enough to Hikari for her to remember places they have memories in, which that insecurity is what kick started/underlies basically all his decisions that led here.

He's indecisive and disrespectful. Doesn't try to progress a relationship with the girl he's actually in love with so he gets a replacement, which takes over his life even after it's over to the point he cannot designate boundaries and prioritize relationships, he doesn't think about how other people feel, has no capacity for introspection, and doesn't realize his own blame because he just does the first thing that come to mind because other people tell him it's "ok" (it's not actually ok).

But the worst part, the single worst part of him as a character is that Hikari is the one who has to clean up his mess and spend 90% of the effort to solve this shit, while being told by the person she likes and who is supposed to actually like her now that he would prioritize a self destructing toxic ex (that could have gotten Hikari into some fucking serious trouble just for lulz)

Combine that with the glacial pace of what is going on and the fact that this is just not a good series at all, like we are so far off the deep end that lighter moments and jokes just don't work anymore, that it just magnifies all the drama.

To be fair, a lot of those mangas are solid throughout and shit the bed at the end. This one has been shit for a while, so a shit ending would be fitting.

Now it's debatable whether or not a manga that is crap from beginning to end is worse than a manga that is good for most of its run only to end poorly.

"Other people" not exactly. Seki proved very clearly the only people able to give orders to Yuu how if he was a dog, they are Hikari and Yami. Maybe Yuki will join to that club seeing this chapter.
And yes, he has been all this time the dog of Hikari and Yami. Female domination and all that, as I already said it. Greetings for finally discover it.
So, Yuu taked a decision (in a bad way, but he really did it, this boy is not Nukumizu from Makeine) and he has been faithful to that decision, is Hikari who rejected him and freed him from that decision.

The reason Ayami complained was that she realized—as this chapter confirmed—that everything happened on Hikari's orders and was manipulated by her. That is what truly angered her, as seen in her reflections in Chapter 50 when she realizes Yuu is messaging Hikari by phone.
Otherwise, it was amusing to see the girls grudgingly accept that Yuu was right and that Hikari was primarily responsible for explicitly sending him to see Aya, fully aware of the risks involved. So yes, this brings me back to the topic of misandry and the expectation that "since you're the man, you're the one who has to fix this, even if you didn't cause it."
So far, Hikari and Yami have been the ones primarily responsible for everything that happened. Yuu's fault lies in allowing himself to be manipulated and mistreated by those two toxic, miserable, selfish, crazy women. He has zero self-respect or dignity.

Yes, this is the one area where we can genuinely blame Ta-kun, and it is his only real, major flaw, and the girls are totally right to saying it to him in the face. The fact that this factor was far less decisive than it appears is due solely to the following:
1) Hikari is incredibly insensitive; after all, her reaction to everything that happened was to go out and look for Aya.
2) Yuu is such a coward that his inferiority complex actually prevented him from making decisions that would have made things even worse—except, of course, for chapters 36–38. It was precisely his weakness who made possible his relationship with Yami in first place, and again, without that relationship, HIKARI WOULD NEVER FELL IN LOVE WITH YUU.
Even the events of the recent chapters were more of a desperate, last-ditch effort than anything else; Hikari knew full well that this would likely happen, yet she didn't seem to care much that Yami ignored Yuu's desperate offer. Rather, Hikari finally seems to be savoring what Yami had felt ever since meeting Yuu in chapters 22–23: the pleasure of loving a pathetic man.

I see people hating on this, but every chapter is straight fire when you're into shitty people's relationship drama taken to absurd degrees.
Best part is that these characters don't even feel that unrealistic. They're just all mostly selfish idiots who keep wavering between doing what they think is correct and what they actually want to do, while dragging everyone else into the tar pit. Some shittier than others, yeah, but even Hikari who's the 'good girl' character is showing more and more selfish behavior. It's some good shit.
Anyway, I'd be happy with a toxic yuri ending, but a toxic threesome ending sounds even better tbh.
