Prince Yelenetta is pretty hilarious, he looks like a total idiot here. and FYI, if you grind up wasabi and rub it on your face or inhale it, it hurts like hell and shoots straight to your brain :dogkek:

Speakin' from experience? :thonk:

Though I guess that's true for every spice :nyoron:
That's like a video where a kid came crying and the mom was cutting chilli. As she's wanting to keep the kid stop crying, she use her chilli-laced hands and rubbed the kids eyes. That kid just crying out loud and the mom has no idea why he's crying louder.

Wasabi is in family with mustard. they both taste similar and yet not. but both can HURT your nose and mouth if ya ain't prepared. somewhere in that manga a torture master is happily using these to torture their victims.
Bonus is “wasabi” is an unknown substance to him. He might as well hear the MaizeHub jingle in his head when these words were uttered

That's from a German comedy skit.

Isn't there a certain old lady in the village that is the resident specialist?

Death by wasabi!

Panamera would hate this guy because he's a coward, but honestly...valid. He's got a good head on his shoulders, so maybe Van can recruit him as an administrator or something.

In that sense, his cowardice is helpful because he'd be too scared of the consequences to betray him and the only risk is information leaks if he gets caught.

His name is Freightliner?
The author frequently uses terms or names from the automotive world for characters or countries. Previously, there were Scuderia (often associated with Ferrari) and Vespa (a scooter made by Piaggio); now, there is Freightliner (a truck manufacturer). Who knows what other names might pop up later? Ducati? Mercedes?

I feel like the MC didn't mean it on purpose by the delivery, but yeah, not knowing what wasabi even is hearing the enemy that captured you say it'll be used for torture as a "prank" would actually be terrifying.

Umm, I actually like the prince. Being level headed is worth some points and he's revealing that his country is being idiotic or possibly puppeted. Story wise that's less interesting to me cuz we've just been told the antagonist is super small potatoes and actually really ****ing dumb on a national scale. There's actually another guy out there that's boosting the antagonists but an even other guy out there that's the supplying the whole ordeal. That makes the enemy we've been fighting off look much worse and sets up this potential long background campaign.

Character wise, yeah I'd like the prince to join the main cast. His bit would actually be fun if not overdone, and there's potential for development with him. Something like him learning about how the MC treats his citizens and the care and loyalty that relationship creates and how its his duty as a royal to create an atmosphere where his citizens feel safe and happy.
