This. I'm surprised most people aren't talking about Mom, acting like a real mom. I like that Mom became the reasonable one here, and it fits. We know that she still has womanly needs, and does have some ALABAMA tendencies here and there, but over all she wants what's best for Sou.

She saw that despite how vulnerable and off-guard Sou was towards his female classmate they didn't do anything that could harm him nor did they push their luck. So, she was okay with Sou continuing attending school, because "RELATIVELY" speaking, they aren't a danger to him.

It's nice to see MC's mom being a good mom (other than wanting to fuck her son, but every mom with a half-decent son wants to fuck him, so I can't blame her for that too much)

The Mother is acting the part. The best part about her speech is her scolding(?) Sou for his behaviour. Despite how off-the-rails the skit went, I think they got the idea how Sou normally acts in school, and the Guards are actually guards

The gap between the horny beasts (female) in this world and a mature, composed adult woman (mother of three) is truly worlds apart in this manga. Hope we can see more of it.
