definitely, since he's only in this mess since he couldn't tell his Aunt Shouko "no" back in chapter 49. Especially since the matchmaker CEO even admits that the person she wants to set Kazaka up with is "not a member", which means her whole plan rested on pushing Ishizumi into agreeing to join lest it all end up in failure for her.

If he'd just held his ground when he'd already said "no" once, none of this would be happening.
Honestly, it shows his fault as a character. Just hope he grows from this.

For a losing heroine whose only purpose is to progress the main couple, she is pretty much a riot alright. Shame that she is wasted on this kind of story.
I'd wonder how that kind of girl fare in normal romance story. Ain't the story just gonna end too soon?
She only kinda works because she's not the FMC.

I genuinely teared up a little bit at him taking care of the lost kid.
It was so sweet

Oh damn, what a dangerously competent rival. I don't usually like rivals, but she admittedly made things interesting.

Nothing wrong with the Ushio character, it's the 'we need a rival to push the main couple plot forwards' trope I'm fking tired of.

It's in character for Ishizumi to struggle to say no, but this time I would have absolutely preferred him to show some character growth, and how much he cares about Reina to actually just stick the 'No'.

Ushio's fine, but I really hope this 'arc' is short. Very, very short.
