Some kind of slave warrior and her previous owner lost the battle/war? Commoner really should've asked more about herself to see what kind of stuff she would be good to work.
Happy to be able to predict how it would end as well but a bit sad how some stuff were left unanswered or pretty much ignored like the relationship between Lava and the Director. Wish we could know if they just transferred Chris and Liam to a prison with better security.
Glad it all worked in...
If you go back to chapter 2, you see him writing to his sister. So he rewrote his own memories not only to insert himself into Lava's past but also to believe that his family was alive.
The security for this prison is probably one of the worst in the world not counting the totally corrupted ones.
I also said that in the last chapter thread. So I agree that's a fitting end.
Also, better late than never for Ono to confess and help Lava out of the prison.
So, how rewriting his own memory would help Lava in her situation? He could testify in her favour exposing the whole scheme. And it's not like it took it long to catch Chris anyway.
I get the ending will probably be Lava as a guard in a male prison for Ono.
I'm more impressed that they actually talked it out and want to cooperate. Well, except that the Chief clearly is hiding everything about Lava's past. But it makes sense as how Ono found it weird how the place he was going to meet and confess to his childhood friend and the place Lava's powers...
