Why are so many light novels so good? Or is it because the good ones get turned into mangas so then thats why I know of them?

Anyway, just added the third light novel series to my collection. Not written by Hitoma Iruma though

I just put all volumes of adashima that Im yet to read + the volumes of hat other Hitoma Iruma light novel in ebook format on my phone fuck yes. If I was left in a shipping container on the open seas for weeks with only rats and other pestilence to sustain me, as long as I had my phone and a way to keep it going, I could totally survive just fine

I realize that while my parents pester me to read more, I probably read more than them. Its just I didnt really register it as reading since its gay little light novels, but Ive read multiple full length books worth of it now in like a weeks time. Brandon Sanderson is to them what Hitoma Iruma is to me

I was looking to re-read the currently out chapters of this work I really like and I glanced and saw that it was made by Hitoma Iruma. I thought I recognized that name and yeah, its the same author as adachi and shimamura. Psyop!

To make such good works like these so that I would unknowingly become bewitched by them, foul beast!

Though idk if their other works are as good cuz theyre not yuri so I havent read them lol lmao

Sometimes I do wonder, what is it that gets people into yuri? Other than the just "Im gay and wanna read gay shit", like me. Cuz theres a lot of yuri out there and im pretty sure there aint that many gay people to read all of those. And you dont see yuribros going crazy over their favorite yuri character or something, like how yaoi has a mostly female fanbase, so its different?

I realized I just consume shit on the internet and hardly think about who made it and why they made it, and that there are also multiple people consuming it along with me

thye don't tell you this but the hardest part about resuming writing for a fic you havent written in a while is re-reading the end of the last chapter you wrote for it, no matter how confident you are in your writing it'll always be a little embarassing

Is this my life now? Read two hundred pages of that gay little light novel every day, while constantly refreshing my mangadex feed? Is this how I die?
