Tom should (if he knows the word which he only at best has half a chance to) open the discussion with king or sovereign though. hes smart enough to theoretically know the word Sovereign since hes Anis' chief engineer, but its a sufficiently rare term for a peasant blacksmith.

were not catching upto the anime anytime soon even with the slight reordering of events (IIRC Euphie doesnt talk to Tilty until after meeting Tom). the anime glossed over half of book 3 in one episode.
