Here's Kaori's reaction when she thought that the Kodan Productions agent was trying to recruit Yoshioka to do porn in chapter 23:
What's happening at the moment with this manga is that it's becoming evident how bad the author's writing is. The author wants Kaori to get involved with AV, so she is writing in a very convenient way to make it happen. The author even introduced a character just to glamorize AV, Saori.
The thing is that since Kaori wants to be an idol, getting involved with AV is a big no no. If anyone finds out, it's an instant career ending. It doesn't make sense with what was presented of her character.
Recently the author went on X to vent about the harsh comments she was receiving about the manga and blocked the comments. If the Japanese public is criticizing you, it really is a sign that you are doing something wrong.

I don't think there's anything convenient about how the author is introducing Koari to AV. Literally her entire characterization to this point has been that she has no idea who she is or what she wants to be. Even now with her going to the idol agency she was just emulating Yoshioka.
I agree the writing isn't great, but honestly sometimes the way you make trash good is by leaning into it instead of trying to course correct.

I would have to agree, also dky he would say “When the jp fanbase is going after u that’s a sign ur doing something wrong”; You’ll get death threats just because u don’t feed their head canon
A lot need to separate reality from fiction (which often people also confuse realistic with probable), and to realize that the authors a person too
I expect no less from social media though

I didn't know the author is a woman. Now I'm more curious about what she is cooking.

I also think that she had to retcon the event where the busty girl gets her virginity taken by two random dudes and make it as if it didn't actually happen due to the backlash she most likely got from the readers.
