This arc feels more like the original story already ended, and then the author wanted to write a whole new story afterwards.

But they could not be bothered to go through all of the tedious publishing and licencing needed to start a new work, so they just tacked on their new work into this story and used the same cast for it.

In my country there is a really a scam like fake human resourcing job to bait people. They already moving place and wasting their leftover money and then end up find out it's not a normal job. The victim don't have a choice or they will end up living starved in the street after they are moving places. The business do indeed sketchy business in real life.

Its more unbelievable for him to not anticipate this kind of response imo. It's pretty obvious what he is trying to do with the FMC. No matter how you try to paint the whole thing as deep and personal, you can't justify your main character to start doing AV lol unless your story is spesificly about that to begin with. (like it was about the rich girl and nobody else from the start)

Yeah, we've been wondering if it was really bait or if it was an adjustment because of the harsh comments. The author went to X to vent 4 days after the publication of chapter 80 where Kaori takes the photo for her resume.

Yeah, initially it legit looks like she is gonna join as an actress considering she took a profile photo just like the rich girl. Only in the office, the boss lady says she is not gonna join as an actress to the overly familiar gyuru. I thing between the photo and the office visit, author changed his mind. Making your FMC a pornstar out of no where is already pretty out there idea lol. We see the MC briefly but he seems to be moved on i think?

I was just thinking about how bad the writing is, then I remembered that this is literally an NTR manga. NTR being the most famously known for having absolute fucking slop story lines that gets re-used over and over again. Where nobody ever has the mental capacity to think rationally and/or reasonably and put themselves in the most outlandish and implausible scenarios known to man. If she actually becomes an AV actress, I'll be dropping this faster than NTR authors were dropped on their head as a kid.

Yeah, MC is doing his thing. He is studying to get into medical school and is working part time. Kaori says she received a job offer but it's hard to say what it is (up until this point it really looked like it was going to be acting in AV), then MC says that if she decided to do it she should do it and that he will support her decision ( He doesn't ask what it is, I doubt he would support it if he knew). Because of his words, she decided to write her CV for the AV production company. The funny thing is that she was at the door of Kodan Productions (idol agency), but as she is eternally insecure, she thought it would be better to gain experience in an AV company than to try to be an idol right away 💀. Also, Kaori seems to think that MC is dating Yoshioka after she broke up with him, but it seems to me that he is single. Kaori seems to have no contact with Yoshioka.

It's still not garanted that the idea of Kaori becoming an AV actress has been ditched. Personnaly, I doubt that the author have abandoned that idea, because if he has then all the chapter since timeskip would have been pointless (And because it's an NTR manga written by a Hentai NTR artist)

Imo it's a first step : First she is an assistant, then she start to be more interested/excited after seen an AV filming for the first time, more romantisation of AV industry, until the moment someone (Saori I think) ask her to be an actress. All of that to set up drama when her family/friend discover what she has done, to realise that gaining experience in AV industry to became an idol wasn't the greatest idea she had.
