Wasn't he able to destroy matter just as much as he can make it? Or was that just germs and the like? Don't have time to reread a load of chapters to make sure right now. But if so, he could literally just unexist the hexafluoride out of his lungs when he's done.
Yup. His two powers are Create and Destroy.
He uses it mostly to Create compounds that would be impossible with the current level of technology, but he also has used Destroy to remove germs, and I think once in combat?

IIRC, Falma had the terrifying thought that he could simply wish to destroy "Air" and any person around him would just suffocate.

It is good to see the manga adaptation is still ongoing, especially since the LNs (iirc) are still not officially translated and there doesn't appear to be any S2 of the anime in the works.

I have a relative with cancer, Palle basically has cancer too.. they can get depressed pretty fast, honestly he's taking all the W's he can get by not giving in to depression from finding out your own mortality

NGL Farma is wrong for doing that. Intentionally playing with his isekai brothers faith is pretty fucked up.

If only I had known of this sooner.
My youngest aunt passed away due to cancer 8 years ago. Because our age gap was just 10, we were like siblings. The feeling of seeing your family member slowly wither away, her once long and silky black hair fell off day by day and her husband crying powerlessly still haunt me to this day. She was a nice elementary teacher beloved by students, colleagues and parents alike, she was supposed to live long and happily.
Yet cancer came and took everything from her, and took her from us.
Yesterday was her death's 8th anniversary.

There's a heck of a lot going on here.

Pharma is discovering that bedside manner is DIFFICULT, especially if you have an attachment to the person being treated.

Palle is continuing to prove that he's too damn dumb to survive. "I'm bruising super-easily and have been warned about sudden movement and exercise because of the risk of hemorrhage. I may have hallucinated that God spoke to me, but dammit, I'm still gonna jump up and down in my bed!"

Pharma, let the moron do himself in already. There's nothing you can do for the terminally stupid.

-- Edit --

Thinking about it, there's an interesting thing with Sulfur Hexaflouride. SF6 is very dense for a gas, and even denser than CO2 Once you inhale it, it's VERY hard to get out of your lungs simply by exhaling. You have to bend over or even lay down to do so.

Pharma was still talking like Darth Vader after Palle collapsed.

(SF6 is fairly inert for exactly the opposite reason Helium and Neon are. The gasses on the edge of the Periodic Table are extremely resistant to reaction. Flourine is AMAZINGLY reactive. It's bonded violently to the Sulfur and won't let go without a ton of persuasion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulfur_hexafluoride)
You realize he could just erase the gas, right?

Honestly I think the idea of Falma conveying the message and asking him to cooperate also is kinda his desire to pass his knowledge before he believes he'll disappear or smth either I'm reading too far into it but maybe partly it's also this so honestly pretty cool

On one hand, it's true that having a healthy, positive mindset will have a greater effect on healing one's body than anything else.

On the other hand... The author has successfully depicted how a faltering mind is susceptible to grasping onto anything that gives hope, no matter how unbelievable it is.

Hallelujah.

Falma is literally the Medicine god in this series, so it's in line.

Please be the translator for as long as you can. I love how clean you made the art iS! And the translation is crisp.
