i talked to them month ago and TL ; DR,

• they already have translation script up to volume 7.
• they can't find redrawer.
• they want to collab with me, i refuse.
• i asked whether they want to continue this title, no clear answer.

so yeah, that's the summary.
now it's up to you guys if you want me to keep doing this title or leave it to the old translator.

im gonna read your translations youve been consistent and akatsuki scans may be having problems, they’re a good group (I think), but they might as well just work on what they can handle and leave this to you (mb this a long ass comment 😭)

this is an interesting way of adding stakes to the fight since losing would still be a game over for him. His pride would be broken and while this noble would definitely die, the backlash would cause him no end of problems. He’s definitely gotta win and while his opponent is certainly stronger than him, he’s definitely not expecting mc to have leveled up so much in such a short amount of time. (Plus he’ll probably keep leveling up as the fight progresses)

Given the choices, i'll take your translations over theirs.
A year+ without a peep and they upload two chapters after you did? Despite (apparently) not having a redrawer?
So either they had the chapters done for some time and have been sitting on them, or they panic redrew them when you started uploading.

Even if neither of those cases are true, still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You keep doing you, I appreciate your efforts more.

they vanished for a year and while i like their work it's up to you if you want to continue your faster seem just as good at the actual translation part.

Besides if they continue anyway its good to have a backup incase the worst happens to you or them.
