Hey guys, sorry it's been forever, but I'm just here to say this series has been dropped.
I thought it over for a while but I really don't have the leeway to be managing an entire project by myself now and I'm not just gonna keep holding onto the hope that maybe I can get back to it when I probably won't.
Sorry to disappoint everyone despite what I said in the latest chapter, and thank you to those who reached out for help along the way.
I'm sorry I couldn't do more, but this is really best for me now. I have other priorities I want to focus on. I hope you understand.

If any other group wants to pick it up and needs raws and leftover TLs, PM me. I have raws up to volume 8 (chapter 42) and TLs up to chapter 23.

This manga has managed to not only make me not dislike the side-couple, as I almost always do, but actually care about them.

I hope you continue translating this till the end, seems very KnT and I love it!
Having read a few chapters of each… the similarities are more superficial than anything. (Assuming that by “KnT” you are referring to Kimi ni Todoke.)

I've said it before, but: One huge criterion for me, when I evaluate a romance, is whether I ship it from both sides.

What does Shouta see in Sawako? Well, despite looking a bit creepy at first, she is actually very kind and caring, not to mention gorgeous.

What does Yousuke see in Hana? Well, despite being plain-looking and extremely insecure, she actually… tolerates… flowers? I mean she does take care of them, but doesn't even appear to enjoy doing so.

It's irksome because I wanted to like this. I wanted the author to show-case Hana's good points, to show us why the class's most popular boy would be into her. But, s/he didn't. Closest we have is “Yousuke likes Hana because he's the MMC and she's the FMC”.

Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't mean it's not seinen.
Well, the only trustworthy criterion is what kind of magazine it's published in, which means that this manga is seinen by definition.

But in general a fairly trustworthy way to separate adult-demographic manga from under-age-demographic manga is the fact that the latter have furigana, whereas the former have just kanji. And… this manga has furigana, despite notionally being seinen. That alone tells us that, despite being published in a seinen magazine, it is aimed towards an under-aged audience.

That, plus my point above, makes me extremely secure in my position that this is a shoujo manga published in a seinen magazine.
