In the end we see why this chapter is called "You'll Dance to my Tune" throughout this entire chapter both Shakky and Rock are making us think they are playing to each others tune, but at the end both are really being played by Iruma's tune. The best way to explain it is like what the God in Futurama said "When you do things right; people won't be sure you did anything at all" The two are so focused on the other, that they never took Iruma seriously so even though he's actually manipulating Rock he doesn't realize it.

Maybe Rock's ability to see traps also allows him to see whether or not things are cursed. As for Mephisto, he's really enjoying himself watching the show and because Mephisto got hungry, he even got some popcorn to eat.

And we can say that Iruma, by preventing Rock from stealing various objects and some of those objects or even all of those objects are cursed, Iruma manages to easily rehabilitate Rock and Iruma prevents Rock from being cursed, in other words, Iruma kind of saves Rock's life.
