So, my biggest criticisms for these series where the antagonist is also a reincarnator is how the antagonist always gets outplayed at every stage. Like it would make for an actual subversion if the second reincarnator were the more genre savvy of the two and actually new the game details in and out. But that goes against the power fantasy.

And here I was hoping to see more of the "translator's" SEA commentary that no one asked for: on page 10 "what in the freak is going on here"; on page 12 "Bro has a death wish." What causes this immodest behaviour? Not enough beatings as a child? Also on page 12, "As for me" comes from slapping "watashi ha" or the like straight into MTL without the text from the succeeding bubble, but no one talks like that in English. Instead its use by MTL software is a half-measure because "watashi ha" doesn't translate on its own. There's a proofreader listed in the credits but they don't seem to be doing anything, neither removing the SEA commentary nor correcting the MTL. Check yourself before you Shrek yourself.
