Don’t know about the OP, but yeah the phrases and words used feels confusing, and throws off the flow of the story.

I think the translation should be accurate as possible, but you should still make allowances when it comes to crossing different cultures.

Yes I know all that. What difference does it make what substitutions Japanese speakers make? Your English translation shouldn't intentionally include the clunky awkward romanization mistakes. It only takes the reader out of the story.

Ruu's full name is Lucifer. Are you sure about that? How do you get Ruu from Lucifer? That's like someone introducing themselves as Bob, and then someone else explaining that his full name is Satan. Makes zero sense. I see the translator note at the bottom of the chapter: I see how you get Ruu from Rushifa. But I don't see how you get Lucifer from Rushifa. Why not use Rushifa? I'm so confused.

Then we get the thought "It's still an infant whose Demon Core hasn't even awakened." That should be "She's", not "It's". You don't refer to a person as an "it", unless a character is trying to insult them. Second, how does a human have a "demon core"? In a previous chapter, Claude said he recognized Julie's "Magic Core". Which is the correct term?

I wish the author would explain Juliana's situation in more detail. Is she a ghost just watching Juli live her life? In other words, she only experiences sight and sound. No physical sensations, no smells, nor tastes. Also no emotions via her own hormones. No hunger or excitement. No belly laughs. Just a disembodied ghost. If that is the case, her life would be miserable. Yes Julie is seeking out a life that Juliana wants to live. But Juliana doesn't get to live it. She watching someone else live it for her.

Or, is Juliana actually experiencing everything Juli does? She still gets to taste the food that Juli eats, etc? To me, this is extremely important. Even then, Juliana can only talk to two people: Juli and Lucifer. It would be very isolating not being able to talk or be seen by almost everyone. Instead, Juliana is just happy go lucky.

Also, assuming the name is correctly written, and not a mistranslation, Lucifer is a highly suspicious name. I'm going to guess that she is the reincarnated Demon King, based on her name and the fact she can see Juliana. Who is Lucifer (Ruu)? Is she the younger sister of Michelle, the maid? At first I thought she was an orphan, but now I'm confused. It was weird the way she was introduced.

Still pretty hard to read, would looking through chapters translated by Reset Scans they keep on their shitty website when doing future chapters be frowned upon? Both tls so far seem pretty off on different lines lol

pretty sure it's just the fact that it's not a great adaptation. LN adaptations almost always feel a bit off. abrupt transitions, and skipping details and supporting information that would help things flow and make sense
