Japanese Web Novel sites are currently experiencing a Villain craze(along with a gaijin waifu craze) as the Villainess craze cools down since 2 years ago.

There have actually been a lot more that have been turned into Light Novels(although some won't likely be getting manga due to flopping.

And many more will soon be turned into Light Novels.

Nah I’m talking about how villain LN/WN’s (which I consider basically shounen isekai) became popular by jumping on the villainess trend after it was already burnt out, we’re saying the same thing

It’s just kinda wild to me cuz one of the main reasons I started reading villainess stuff in the first place was cause they weren’t about cookie cutter isekai MCs, (although now the villainess trope is about as worn out) so it’s crazy that they decided to change that aspect specifically to mirror isekais. Like let’s copy this trope now that it’s worn out and we’ll make it fresh by reusing the standard isekai MC, it’s like Frankenstein’s monster lmao

This is an interesting take. It's a bit over the top, but it does seem like both personalities are merging together in some capacity (or will). Him having to forcefully fight against his original personality/body's instincts is an interesting premise.

I don't know if it was the translation or not, but it didn't read like he was isekaied/reincarnated, but the tags/latter half seem to imply he has.

I don't like the expressions. If a story is going to follow all the usual tropes then I like they at least give me something interesting to look at.

At the time of this posting... No Chapter 1 (only available on KS Group's website), only Chapter 2 here, and it's taken SIX GODDAMNED MONTHS for them to do Chapter 3... whhiiiiiich they have not yet made available on MD because omg our ad monies!

Oh, and rawkuma has decent quality raws for all chapters up to the latest release in Japan.

KS Group will not have much of a leg to stand on if someone else picks up this title. It won't even remotely qualify as a snipe.

EDIT: Though it is worth noting that the next chapter release in Japan is past the expected date given in the last chapter. Let's hope that it's just a "normal" delay and not something like "The mangaka has become horribly ill."

Not a chance. And Rawkuma has up to chapter 10.2.

EDIT: And "Not a chance" because by now it's been Nine Fucking Months since they uploaded Chapter 2 here on MD. At the very least we now have Chapter 1, but I strongly suspect that was just someone among the staff going, "Yeah, there's no good reason for it to have been removed. If they really want it down so badly, they need to say something about it. Back up it goes!"
