Meh. Author (or maybe editor?) really botched the whole story in my opinion.
No character consistency and now we've really crossed the Rubicon with all the actual monster stuff (as opposed to the implied/mysterious nature of the first volume).
Still interested to see how it goes, but disappointed this is what its delivering.

i appreciate the sentimentality that the author takes time with releasing new a chapter but it comes to a point. these chapters are like 10 second scenario of whats happening inside the story.

confused why theyre making this arc longer than it is necessary.

Doesn't surprise me much. This mangaka has always been better at art than at keeping the plot under control.

It's had this release schedule the whole time. I'm jealous of future readers who will be able to pick this up when its completed and be able to read it as it was intended to be read, all in one sitting.
