At a brief point between last chapter and this one, I interpreted Moyupu's actions as partly being "I'm doing you a solid and permanently unraveling you from this succubus" but also "she's mine, not yours". Well, assuming that what we saw was what actually happened (it was, of course, somehow).If you think about it, Moyupu gave Yumezora the ending she wanted; she died at the peak of happiness almost too quick to notice what had happened.
Gomi was always more grounded, so him dealing with the the aftermath (no matter what happened) was always going to be the price he paid. Was the ride worth the price of admission though? Seems like it.
