i think the comparisons to one punch man are valid but the difference in their source of strength seems important to me. they're both the "so powerful that beating an enemy is a literal afterthought/interruption to whatever dumb crap they're thinking about atm" archetype, but they paths they took to reach that point immediately reveals a lot about their respective characters. saitama was so weak-willed that just doing a basic daily workout routine caused his limiter to break- he was basically such a useless person that his stats underflowed & hit max- whereas kino here genuinely put in an insane amount of effort to get where she is, even though things only happened that way because she doesn't brain very good... idk, i just think that kind of detail is very fun & changed my expectations for the series because i can't quite just write the series off as "one-punch girlfailure" any more, lol

About that 4 and 千 thing … I made that same mistake very recently when trying to read a web manga where most of the text was handwritten. Had me raising my eyebrows to the sky and back before I understood that I misread the number.

So it absolutely is an actual thing if there's no context to ground it, seriously. You just have to be bad enough at math to also ignore physics while at it, and boom, you can get yourself a Bocchi Leveling.

TL Rad does such a good job with this series, but some chapters are pretty tough when they have things like this in them.
