You know, if the story is gonna be about building up to her gaining the strength to fight back against her assaulters from scratch, then was the reincarnation plot even needed?
This could have progressed mostly the same if she was a legit normal maid getting stronger to survive.

That's the problem I'm currently having with this story. She's not supposed to starting over from scratch, she's supposed to be a max level pro player starting a new game at level one but she's coming off as a noob who just watched a pro player playthrough. Really hopes she demonstrates some competence soon.
I started this series yesterday and so far I am liking it. There are not many isekai series like this where MC is from the same universe only in the past (the other one I know of being about former Saint now 300 years in the future and set to become a villainess but failing so hard ). I love how it is being done so far and judging by the spoilers it will be even better in the future.
Not only is MC going to get super strong but we will get yuri which makes it even better.
In any case, I am lock for this and will be following it.

I partially agree with you regarding this. MC may be reincarnated (and soon after his death it seems) but he is in a new and unfamiliar body, new environment and serving a master that is hot headed. In a span of a day MC was hit in the chin, had a heart-to-heart discussion with his new master, had to save her in adventurer's guild and was kidnapped. That is a lot even for a veteran of the series.
Still, if this will help to wake up her internal skill and make her OP then I am all for it. I am sure that his previous knowledge and experience will come in handy after she starts training her new master. We did her older version on the cover of the series after all, so I have a hunch the main part of the story will be centered when she is a bit older.

Body's weak? Okay. Sure. I can take that. New body and all. What about your head and brain? Your knowledge from your previous life? Why are you so spineless?
It feels like a reverse-power fantasy isekai where the go and try to forcibly make the MC as useless and stupid as possible instead.
This feels like a lost cause, the mc and just the standard of power in this manga overall seem hilariously weak, even in a flashback where he's supposedly at full strength. I imagine this is going to be one of those stories where the power comes entirely from a skill and things like battle sense, reflexes, or strategy don't actually matter.
The "fight" in this chap was underwhelming
The swordsaint(?) literally won just because his sword was better than his opponents and he could slice through it by pushing his against it

One could argue battle sense and reflexes are part of skill
this part will take a while, perhaps finished around chapter 10 or something looking at the pace, we still need to see mc maid got beaten on sided until mc finally adapt to her new body and beat the enemy
we still havent see POV of the elf girl mc left behind so that will take 1 or 2 chapter before the arc finished

A normal maid would know basically nothing about fighting. You could give them a month, maybe even year(s), and they may not make huge progress.
Contrast that with what we have. A reincarnated individual who was perhaps the strongest, with years, decades perhaps of fighting and training experience. How much she can improve and how fast are exponentially higher than a legit normal maid, and it's not even close.
super important to censor kill and die when the manga shows the disgusting pedophile noble wanting to rape minors, which is obviously a lot less upsetting than having to read kill and die.
Logic is lost on some people like how censored and banning manga with bro/sis step sis relationships but allowed sweet home Alabama and cousins getting married. Common sense is lost on some people, rather tackle imaginary problems and look like big man rather than tackle the real issue

Like I get that a grown man became a young girl and does not have the same muscles and is not used to their body overall, but if his entire lifetime of combat experience is just gonna go "poof" then what is the point of the reincarnation plot in the first place? Clearly women are capable of being among the strongest fighters in this fictional universe since they said that there is a current female sword saint, so I really hope MC powers up at some point bc this is just frustrating
