The preview image showed mc holding a sword, so maybe it's a sign that s/he will at least partially regain the old abilities

Chapter 1 literally ends with "This is a story of rechallenge, untill I surpass my past self". So yeah, if the author wasn't lying there, then it'll likely go that way.
Also, she keeps being frustrated by how weak she is now, so the training arc will probably start sooner than later.

From little spoilers I have seen she will get her powers back and then some later on, and if you see the cover image of the current manga (1st chapter) you can see older version of her in maid uniform. What's even better, this will supposedly become a yuri in the future, I am guessing between her and milady.

I want something different, where the reincarnated character quite literally only has their memories intact and need to regain their abilities through effort, and I want to accompany that journey!
