I don't think she's faking it considering she's showing actual physical issues that would only be possible if she recieved major nerve damage. Plus, she seems to be in denial and has been shown to actively dislike having to rely on someone else, so I don't think she would willingly fake it. She also underwent a pretty big change in apperance after the incident, so it's clear something actually happened. Even if she didn't actually die, all the evidence points to her getting into a really bad accident that brought her close to death at the very least.i wonder if she isnt actually dead but doing this as some way to break out of her shell, or maybe bonked her head, her family enabling a chuni fantasy and telling her she actually died. Like she is saying she is dead as some way to cope with something that happened
I don't think the entire series is just going to be the MC being her careteaker considering they seem to be actively finding ways for her to get by without having to rely on him all the time. I'm guessing that she'll start to branch out and make more friends as she learns to navigate the world in her current situation without letting pride make things 10x harder than it has to be. I think it's going to a bittersweet route of her doing the things she wanted to do that she didn't while she was still alive.I dunno, this thing of straight up killing a character just so the MC has an excuse to be the only male character to interact with her to the point she can't even do basic things like properly feed herself and lost all autonomy this young isn't cute or wholesome, it's just cruel and sad.
You're forgetting this is a romcom manga.I don't think the entire series is just going to be the MC being her careteaker considering they seem to be actively finding ways for her to get by without having to rely on him all the time.
