Thanks for tl
Maybe Haruka's body belongs to the moon goddess and once she gets in a dire situation maybe she'll awaken the moon goddess powers

Sorry for your loss, I once moved to another city for 2 years and when I went back to my city, my neighborhood got full of a certain race of people that any order got stolen from any door step, now I have to get my ass up to buy everything.

I could understand his apprehension about a girl who looks EXACTLY LIKE THE GOD HE WORSHIPS calling him master. I wonder if there is some deeper lore behind them looking identical, especially when Haruka didn’t get an introduction to the world by a higher being when the story started. After all, can’t meet the god of the world if you are the god of the world, lol.

…or maybe I am looking into it too much and there is just cursory dark elf commonalities between them like similar long light hair, and huge breasts.

considering the resemblance Haruka has to the moon goddes that Noct saw alongside her noted capriciousness we can probably say she's the one who dunked Haruka into this world without an explanation.

It makes me wonder why she did that, but also the answer is kind of right here. she's just the kind of goddess who does things like this for no discernable reason.

It would actually be pretty intresting if Haruka was actually the Moon goddess, But what if she is the moon goddess of the past?

what if in the far future Haruka gained so much power that she can travel though time and mold the world as she please, so being the good person she is she goes around helping people, and in the prosess she returns the favor to those that helped her in the past.

Because of her deeds and power she was dubbed the goddess.

but ehh im not sure how much i like that idea.

The implication seems to be that the MC took on the role of, or possessed the Moon Goddess. It would explain the limitless mana, magic potential, and simultaneous body reinforcement that no one else in the world understands or is capable of replicating. For all the regular and even exceptional folks out there, casting magic and body reinforcement were stated to be contradictory.

I was so sure Haruka was gonna drop the isekai nuke.

Still, good that she finally found someone knowledgeable enough to explore her power and skil set, a good frame of reference, and that seemingly she'll finally be working on them too. With a big character shift moment too. Small steps.

imagine if the moon goddess is now a middle-aged man experiencing the wonders of earth. Maybe she just swapped them around to go on a nice (goddess sized) trip

Most likely. Either that or the goddess incarnated herself into Japan as a guy to see how it was, ended up miserable to the point we got the canon Haruka, and it ended up kicking herself back into her own body.

EDIT: Huh, didn't see Breadbunny's post before posting. Yeah, that is another possibility, but her wearing the tracksuit at the start makes me think there is a greater level of shenanigan going on.

I wonder what we'll learn about Haruka's magic. It appears she has lots of mana and can simply mold it according to her imagination which is a very raw way of using her mana.

The moon goddess is apparently capricious though and that seems like a large departure from her current personality.

Now that we know who the humans and beastfolk worship, what about the elves?
The humans and beastfolk appear to worship the same gods though though the beliefs surrounding them appear to be different (humans see Zest as a destroyer, while beastfolk see the moon goddess as the one governing death, so subtly different); they just have different names. See chapter 17, page 18, we're told that the Oracle looks like an elf while the destroyer Zest looks like a dark elf.

It's a bit strange that both beastfolk and humans have gods that look like another race. Considering how long lived elves are, their rarity, and, from the sample of one that we've got with Haruka, their immense power, it's not too surprising some may have ended up worshipped as gods.

That or the sun (oracle) and moon god (Zest) were the gods of the elves, and their knowledge and culture spread amongst other races and overtook any other belief system.

I wonder if we'll ever meet another elf, but we would surely learn more about them then.

I don't think the body reinforcement is that mysterious, though it must certainly seem strange to others that Haruka can do it without understanding how. My understanding is that she simply has so much mana that she doesn't need to focus for it to reinforce her body. Others have limited pools of mana and need to focus their mana to temporarily boost their ability.

I don't recall it being stated that casting magic is incompatible with body reinforcement... It's been stated that multicasting spell is incredibly difficult though and that most mages only cast one spell at a time, so maybe body enhancement while using magic is difficult. In any case, I would say that the reason mages don't use body enhancement is twofold: they have limited mana so they can't waste it, and they don't train in close combat (like swordsmanship) but in long range attacks, so it's a waste to enhance their body. In chapter 14, page 18, the young twin mages explains exactly how body enhancement works and why it's so difficult - it's already simultaneous casting of two different type of magic. Casting additional magic on top of that is even more difficult.

:O
Yeah, that might be it.
