Lmao Cecil strong? Cecil is only strong because of Allen

Had Cecil stayed the regular girl she was before I think she would be on the same level as the merchant girl which is probably why the merchant girl see's her as rivalry and why she's jealous as fuck about her x MC

So she's just like a typical girl who's jealous that the same position girl in her group hooked up with a rich dude who saved her

she's basically pulling off a this :lul: so yea I don't think she's a bad person just because of jealousy :aquadrink:

Woman rivalry, I guess. Well, at least she didn't reject Pelomas.

Ahh this again reminded me what a brat Fiona used to be at this point. And how frustrating it was seeing the author refer to this behaviour as "a part of her charm". And I still consider this one of the few flaws of this work. So anyone out there like me who can't tolerate this bs and is planning to read the novels, be warned. Cuz Cecil is even more annoying than Fiona there.

The merchant girl is getting a lot of flak for setting all these ridiculously high bars for Pelomas to clear, but I see it as her last stand as a "free woman".

She's been down bad for Allen ever since he saved her and her dad, but she also knows that as a daughter of a prestigious merchant family she has an obligation to marry someone beneficial for her family. So she's struggling with having to put aside her love for Allen, which she is still willing to do for the sake of her family. The hurdle she's setting for Pelomas is her way of creating an excuse for herself to let go of Allen and go with Pelomas. A final selfish request she can call her win, before she's giving away the rest of her life to someone she doesn't love.

Now should Pelomas want to marry a person who doesn't want to marry him to the point that she has to do all that to force herself into that marriage? Probably not, but I guess the heart wants what the heart wants? Logic and reasoning don't always win out when it comes to love. 😅
And I also think he's seeing all these trials she's setting as a way to win her over, but he seems too blind to realize that while it will lead to him marrying her, he won't be winning her over emotionally. Though hopefully that'll change in/over time...

She is one of the bigges golddigger I ever saw.
