...I don't get 'evil/selfish' vibes from this girl, oddly enough. A bit dreamy and deluded due to circumstance, but I think she actually means well enough- her idea of things got warped by finding and reading the book (which it should be reminded, WOULD be 100% accurate if Etheria wasn't a reincarnate) so it makes sense she thinks this stuff after some 'verification'.
She's also got a bit of a low self-esteem as well, seems like; she said it herself that she doesn't think she's good enough to pass those classes in comparison to the nobles, not that she just 'doesn't want to'. She's trying to just marry up. Ironically enough, that's ALSO relatively 'realistic' in terms of how she normally would function. The Archbishop is the radical thinker here, not conservative.

All this is to say that for now I don't hold a grudge against the girl. People can be very quick to vilify the OG FMC in these kinda stories but she seems fun for now, not an irritance. Maybe that'll change, but I hope it doesn't.

Okay, so she's just...following the book without thinking about it. And because the book is based on the old timeline's plot, the bits that don't make sense are going to seem like flattery.

.......I mean. In a way, she and the prince are a good match for their utter inability to perceive their surroundings properly.

The younger prince's finance feels like more of a heroine though.

I do quite like this story and I'm not sure why. It might be that it actually digs into the otome plot and fills it up with a lot of substance. Or maybe it just moves fast.

I actually had it like 80% done on my hard drive for a year, but couldn't get up the motivation to complete until I noticed the news about a new version of Krita with newly rewritten text layout tools - now it can actually automatically word wrap text inside a speech bubble.

I wonder if there is also some good tool (AI or not) that could help with cleaning raws, especially the specific job of filling holes in a repeating pattern, since it's another labor intensive and boring task.
