Thx for the TL

first, god damn that cover page, can that be noa' mom or sister pls?! I need that noa

second, Rihito finally learning how to not trigger noa lol, almost got her to misunderstand something lol

third, saw that sugoi lites posted this manga on its page, idk how to feel if this gets an anime, if this gets an anime, it will cause chaos within the anime community lol

I mean she does also praise him for having gotten much better, shes harsh, sure, but calling her a bad boss seems a bit much for someone who has been running an active and successful department for a while.
If your coworkers/employees are having a difficult time trying to ask for advice due to you being unapproachable then you're kinda of a shit boss.

If I were the protagonist of an anime rom-com, I would subconsciously determine that whatever shit is going on around me is due to a misunderstanding.

What about bonus terms like people who constantly lecture you about life and work to validate themselves at your expense, but immediately become defensive and angry when you actually ask them for help with certain things?
Yeah kizaki is a shitty boss.

From the perspective of the higher-ups, perhaps they see her as an employee who runs a successful department, but Rihito is objectively struggling to get help with his daily job function because she's such a hardass, which makes her a bad boss.

She can be bad at one aspect of the job and excellent at other parts, flat out calling someone a "shit boss" because they are clearly lacking in one aspect neglects other parts they may be doing well. A truly "shit boss" would not have a reputable and respected department or a successful game to this extent.
A truly shit boss will have you unable to ask for help, pushing more work onto you, making the entire department stressed and uncomfortable, while also neglecting their own work. Aint saying shes a good boss, just not a truly shit one.

She can be bad at teaching and getting new people acclimated to the job while still being excellent in other aspects as a boss.

What we know for a fact is her department is seemingly well ran and succesfull and has been so for a prolonged period. Based on that i feel we can assume shes probably quite capable at other aspects. These are ofcourse, assumptions, as we have not met any of his other new coworkers and heard their opinions yet.

But i feel its a fair assumption to make that despite her poor teaching skills and harsh tone, she probably keeps the department running smoothly and ensures a good product is put out.

Is slavedriver a good boss if he delivers results to his stakeholders? If I am to be working under one, I am sure as hell not calling him a good boss, even if his stakeholders are happy with how much labour he can extract out of me and my colleagues.

...shionable? Famous? Fappable? Can't leave us hanging like this.
Imma be honest, Noa is super hot and everything but I never found her fappable. Idk what it is but the manga does a good job intentional or not of not hyper sexualizing the female characters. Yes there is fan service but it's more on the cutesy side than gooner bait side.

but thus, this is japan, so it will never ever ever EVER be addressed, at least until the game does poorly and she is demoted to a lesser project, where shell continue to be a shitty boss
This is not a japan thing at all dude, every job ever you'll find an unreasonable boss, there are comic strips on newspapers about having a shitty boss in every newspaper to have ever exist since writing has been a thing

Remember, only last chapter Noa mentioned that this is Kizaki's first time leading a team. We're meant to think she's bad at it. (And heading for a major crashout once the cracks start to show and her resentment over Noa being such a natural career woman, while she is working like mad to keep up her own facade, boils over. The foreshadowing is not exactly subtle.)

I think that because the story interactions are rather mundane she ends up being a hot girl that is doing regular work, makes you ignore that she is indeed very very hot

Yeah it does get pointed out and even spelled for the reader that they are both learning as they go, i hope people reading dont get cocky later and start going how kizaki is getting an easy pass for being a bad boss, when the story is cleary telling you that shes having her own issues due to her inexperience

Noa-chan is really cute in here :meguu: anyway, Rihito almost let something slip that would've made Noa misunderstand him. Good thing he changed the topic at the last second and said something else that put a smile on her face.

thank you for translation
Its cute, as of now the one thing she keeps going on about is how she wants confirmation that rihito likes her better than any of her own other delusional options, just a straight up "i like you" from rihito while shes also catching on the fact thats she more or less is asking for a confession
