I think the reason the story moved away from the Main MCs is cause they already finished their story. Yori and Himari got together they kissed and they meet parents so there's not much to tell with their story aside from what I'm hoping comes after testing since Himari said she'll sort her feelings out before they get intimate

Somehow I'm not getting tired of this bit. Kanon is so strong that it doesn't matter how much Saki uses her Gay Panic ability - Kanon's I'm So Fucking In Love With You And Will Tell You To Your Face counterattack is sure to beat it.

istg I could eat up another 10 chapters of this fluff. Just Saki having her gay panic and mentally combating her self-hate, while Kanon is the absolute unstoppable force of love directed solely towards her. I don't want any more drama, those girls need lots of love asap 😭😭

Let’s be patient with Saki. For us, it’s been slowly building up for years. It was only like two or three weeks ago when she was still planning to take her sexuality and her feelings to the grave. It hasn’t been 24 hours since her first coming out + love confession ever. Just one of those is nerve-wracking enough on its own. Her most optimistic outcome was probably just that Kanon would accept her feelings but would still need time to decide how she responds.

Yet, before she even gets the words out, Kanon kisses her, then confesses her own love, and that’s so far outside the realm of anything Saki ever expected or dared to dream of. What, how, when?! Forgive a girl for questioning reality itself and even taking an obvious joke at face value.

Saki became used to hiding herself. Now that Kanon learned her secret, Saki feels like Kanon can see through her completely. When Kanon looks Saki in the eye now, for Saki that almost feels like being naked. That's what the mind reading thing suggests to me.

The other thing that comes to mind is that the sexual tension that has been lingering between them might be hitting Saki at full force now. She can't tell herself anymore that nothing could possibly happen between her and Kanon. Though this is definitely more loose speculation on my part.

I personally love the way the mutual confession shifted their dynamic. There have been times where Kanon swept Saki off her feet, but now it's like Saki becomes a mess from simple eye contact, and I think it's adorable.

If you cant see a problem with a story that focuses way more on 2 side characters than THE MCs of the story, then nothing can save you
