A moon lady named [Kaguya] (Hi)hime who descended to Earth, a little too on the nose don't you think? Next you'll tell me [Yatagarasu] is a half-avian with three legs.

Page 5 depicts a giant horned monster with a notable panel of an arm being eaten; this is purely speculation but I wonder if that monster is supposed to be an oni, and moreso if it's supposed to be inspired by the tale of Ibaraki-douji.

Small nitpick on p13 with a weird phrase;

...and you can never return back.

Can never return or can never come back, surely?

I'm not the biggest fan of history elements in fiction, but I've got to admit that I love Hihime's fit 💙

Thank you for the translation :>

I'm really liking this!
I was interested and wanted to try reading the original LN. I could only find one fanlation, the one by 'Jp translation for fun' and I really did not mesh with the prose style of one sentence per line. If anyone finds a different translation eventually I would love to see it. The 'vn meido' one (I'm not sure if this is also by 'Jp translation for fun' seems to have its links entirely broken so, if it is a separate translation, I'd love if someone could drop a link.
TY for the translation!! Muah muah 🤍🤍🤍

Why is kaguya too on the nose? I don’t know Japanese. It doesn’t mean moon, right, cause moon is tsuki (wisdom from watching anime in Japanese dub)?

The story looks very interesting, I’m hooked. It’s not often we get an outstanding artstyle, a solid plot, and yuri!

Kaguya is the name of a character from a japanese folk story called The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.
from what i've learned about the story just through seeing it referenced in japanese media, Kaguya is someone who is considered very desirable to men around her, so she comes up with impossible tasks for her suitors to make them go away, then at the end of the story she goes to live on the moon.
no clue how far off my telling of it is from the real deal, but thats why the name Kaguya has a lunar association.

my favey reference to the character in current day media is the touhou adaptation, by the way. the sequence where she throws really unfair danmaku at you one after another to force your run to end in reference to the impossible tasks from the original tale left a big impact on me
