she already took that time by confessing over the phone like an absolute dirtbag.
she then did it AFTER taking the time, to her face, and the confession was accepted, with a kiss, a KISS!
and now she wants none of it.
this is not taking a time-out, it's being an absolutely disgusting dirtbag.

I sure hope nobody is dating you. People need to take their time with stuff, and even if they said "yes" at one point, they're allowed to process and re-think things.

There's nothing "dirtbag" about someone thinking, "wait, I'm not actually ready for this yet, I have things to work out first".

that's absolute dirtbag behavior, selfish and egotistical.
do you actually realize what Kanon is now going through?
do you even consider how Kanon must be feeling right now?
if it were anyone else, they would've dropped Saki on the spot and moved on, that's the part you don't get.
you can always get extremely lucky and meet somebody who has endless patience and understanding for you, and will wait for you forever.
but reality is not like that.
making someone come at you by laying all of their feelings bare, only to lock yourself up to them?
that's one of the biggest red flags there can be.

So many fun expressions! I especially love the one in the last panel, with Kanon looking like she just woke up from a dream where she was just about to bite into a delicious cake. I guess it's understandable that some people are frustrated, but I think it's great that Kanon doesn't get what she wants immediately. I can't wait to see her PoV again.

Not realistic? I've been with people who have had initial interest but had to rethink things because their feelings were changing or their free time was changing or whatever else.

If I immediately kicked them to the curb, like you seem to think is right or obvious, I would have missed out on some amazing relationships and memories. And I would have hurt them. Absolute lose/lose situation. I'm very glad I think nothing like you.
