thing is the anime adapts the novel, but the manga adds more that is not in the novel or anime, like Schupple backstory is all new in the manga, it makes him more tragic, in the anime there is nothing of that, I enjoy it but the manga has a better story with the characters

Speaking as someone that has consumed the LN, anime, and manga (but it has been a while), it is not bad, it is fine really. It is just the manga is just  that good with all if the adaptation expansion the manga does, just to mention one thing.

I rather like how the fights are animated in the anime.
