Thanks for the chapter!

Ah, so the animals are meant to act as sacrifices/distactions then? Probably won't work for long though.

I thought the jumping red women and the other phenomenon were trying to interact but maybe that’s not the case? It seems like the phenomenon, which is apparently some otherworldly deity, is unilaterally looking for the women and going after anyone connected to her. The women seem to be bouncing between people. The apartment seeking girl who’s childhood room was haunted by the women didn’t appear to be affected compared to A-san so I’m guessing the women didn’t intentionally caused his problem.

It’s been a while but do we know what happened to K-san after he left the occult magazine? Someone like him seems like an easy victim of whatever is happening.

It's a subtle element, but I think my favorite part of this chapter is simply. If this is a world where ghosts, gods, curses. Supernatural phenomena do happen.

Then from the victims point of view, what a cruel industry the occult news world must be. Your inexplicable horror scrutinized, examined, turned into What Will Sell. The side of 'recording' versus 'being recorded'.

The moment where he says, he used to love horror. brr.

This is much more subtle, and something that got a bit muddled through translation, but remember the "proxy" from the children's game Mashiro-san (which coincidentally means Mr. White aka Whiteman)? That game literally portrays being "caught" and then needing a "proxy/scapegoat" to stay safe
