I know it's a joke but I would hardly call him the worst person. He's basically a kidnap victim who got pushed into the role of hero, failed miserably (not his fault entirely), and then bolted for it. Dude's actually doing a pretty solid job bumbling about as hero lol

in the LN they genuinely do. the pace here is absolutely glacial in comparison, it took them only a month to get to this "age" there. still not a fan of the accelerated aging though, feels like the author just couldn't be assed to write actual childrearing.
