Yep. I'm pretty sure that Ix would very much want to 'eat' Iruma after all.
Just not necessarily in a done-and-gone manner...

I only just now realized that between the lot of 'em, these kids have enough resources and connections to legitimately kickstart a war
Iruma himself has connections with the three heroes families. They literally WERE threatening to start a war, and they were the families that ended a previous one.

They are kinda a bunch of preppies attending the super-elite school for rich families, lol. Really, the funniest thing is how many of them were basically delinquents before Iruma whipped them into shape.

For all the people mentioning Baal:
Baal doesn't want Iruma deported either. Narnia wants to deport Iruma so Nightwalker's plans regarding humans can't come to pass (in addition to being a salty ass about non-demons in general). Baal's plans intersect with Nightwalker's (in creating ascendent demons), tho Baal is more interested in the fact that Iruma has Delkira's mana (Baal's goal is to use Iruma to "revive" Delkira in some manner and then somehow consume that power for himself).

Baal definitely is willing to help Sabro prevent Iruma from getting deported, but he ultimately wants Iruma in his hands so there's still the immediate threat where it could open an avenue for Baal to attempt at getting to Iruma by simply using their rescue as a distraction. Meta-wise Sabro going to his uncle is going to have real consequences, though when said consequences will swing by isn't certain.

I originally expected the reactions of the other members of the abnormal class to be different from each other, but in reality the members of the abnormal class don't even care that Iruma is human.

Considering Mephisto being so old, I think he might know how crazy Knightwalker really is. And I think/Maybe Mephisto while playing chess with Kalego is scolding him, about not doing anything about confronting his father or something like that.

Considering that Sabnock Sabro's acquaintance list would be Baal, I wonder how exactly Baal would help Sabro regarding Iruma? Personally, I'm thinking of the version where Baal could say that he can help Iruma if you agree to do something for me(Sabnock Sabro to do something for Baal, for example Sabro to convince Iruma to agree to help Baal with something). As an idea, Baal could lie to Sabro by telling him that he knows that Iruma is a human from a certain meeting with the members of the 13 crowns where he had been invited. Although in reality Iruma indirectly confessed to Baal that he is a human (Iruma having a recording and listening device where he said that he is a human).

I think the problem most people are seeing is that if Sabro and the other misfits put their trust in Baal, he'll gladly "help"... right up until the moment he can backstab them and run off with Iruma himself.

yea, realized that he can just let their plan ride and use them in some way to get direct contact with Iruma, edited my comment before I saw the reply. We're more into endgame than I initially anticipated so Baal might just make a move of his own this arc, though I suspect he won't get fully busted just yet.

Yeah pretty much what everyone was expecting their reaction is.
Biggest Misfit in the DEMON class, no, the whole Underworld is a human so it makes sense.

The misfit class are great. They're closest to origin by nature but it shows those trying to achieve origin through consumption are totally misguided in what origin actually means.

Yeah I was struck especially on pages 14 and 15 of this chapter with Purson encapsulating the Misfit's entire thing - what do you mean they're going to stop Iruma doing what he wants because of something he can't change? Fuck that let's go get him out.
Really makes me think we're going to have an examination of what happens when an 'origin by consumption' demon comes face to face with someone who gets it and has the motivation to do it.

It's especially interesting because we hear that return to origin is bad b/c it 'breaks down the rules of society' aka we're lead to imagine this is a 'chaos and anarchy' sort of thing but I think it's clearly pivoting to a 'we've wrapped ourselves in so many rules for 'safety' we stopped having 'freedom' type story beat./
