Why fire over the wall when (depending on the round) the wall just adds to the damage to the enemies, removes potential tactical footholds/defendable positions, and you have a new opening to go through to wage more chaos.
Do agree with the terrain though.
I wish her village was hit by a real epidemic while she is away after she finds out they were lying, that way she thinks they are still lying and die for real.
The only thing I could think of after seeing the 'Slash and Heal' was that she now has a few hands to lend and a few legs others could use to stand on.

They went into a forest and ate some poisoned food and died, the end, no need to continue investigation (what about the bodies?), eaten by wild animals. That's it, close the case, no need to cause a war over some idiots.
@Serenata Might be that her stats went up and the world works under an underlining 'Status' effect, where her hp might have been 60/100 before and 210/250 now, the damage remains the same but the scale of it is much different.
