As convenient as the whole meetup with those middle-school clubmates was, I think it's great that we are starting to slowly see why Miya treats Sora the way she does. Sora, even with all his goodwill, may have done more harm than good to her in the past - I can't wait to find out more.

What she thinks she believes and what drives her thoughts and actions may be entirely different things. Also, it's possible that people (like her husband) have affected her views without her completely admitting this fact to herself or others.

It's been a while since the chapters in the dragon villages, but... I don't think this is what's supposed to happen? If a new holder of the dragon's spirit is born, shouldn't they just gradually lose their powers or something like that?
