Someone pointed out during the chapter where Baku drowned that his dream during the tower match held some hints towards the truth. Looking at his dream this time around, that may have been the case once more. Specifically:
@catx3 @Takoshi
@idle_af
@Reqqles
1. I don't think any of the cards are left out of play intentionally. Yes only 50/52 cards are used, but the two unused can be expected to change depending on play order.
2. The fact that Shion, who knows what the law is with absolute certainty, talked about variable hands...
@xkcdhawk
Good theory, I think it's confirmed with this chapter too.
That aside, I don't understand what this 2 Bios is changing. Baku literally only has to fold and it's over.
Observations of the match so far (tagged for length):
This being said, the fact that the remainder of the game is so predictable means that I'm probably off the mark. Looking forward to how I'm proven wrong!

@Lithe
Mostly in case they turn out right. I don't feel like people would appreciate coming to the comments to express excitement over the events of the chapters and come across theories on theories of future stuff. I started feeling a necessity in spoiler tagging theories when everyone talked...
The greatest thing about this is that Baku's done this in hopes of Lalo putting out his best, and Lalo has no option but to do exactly that. If he plays anything other than 47, he loses the value of his 47. This forced mind-game out of him is a great payoff, assuming he didn't play 25 here.
@xkcdhawk
The fact that Baku's figured out the law makes it hard for Lalo naturally, because now he's pressured to either figure out the law, or overthink the circumstances behind Baku's every decision in the upcoming rounds, if he raises by specific amounts or such. He can't just blindly play...
@Solano
The conclusions that Baku probably came to after his thinking probably meant that he wasn't at an advantage. Which from our perspective, is half-true. Technically Baku has the advantage, but he has no way to know that. Whether his decision was right depends on what Lalo would have done...
Baku's plan here is ingenious. Not only is he forcing Lalo to waste air as well, but more importantly, he's managed to force Lalo's next card, although I don't know if he himself can recognize that (it's Baku, he probably did).
This game is shaping up to be something of an inverse to the tower...
@Merrycatch22
From our perspective, it's a serious risk to play 25 while Lalo's 47 is available. 26 is also the only card that breaks the straight flush of 25, so he can hold onto it for another round.
Holy shit, I did not expect this to happen!
Baku's dream (nightmare?) seems to be leaning into his stated plan to make Kaji the leader while he's something of a puppetmaster.
@RapidLord
It's in the sense that every hand that can be a flush (meaning straights), will be a flush by default. That being said, it's probable that hands might just become flushes after everything Full House or higher is used up (specifically in the case of 25/26). I find it difficult to...
@saxifraga
What you said makes sense, and with what Kaji's figured out, it does look like that's the case.
For you, and anyone else who's confused about poker hands, here's a rundown (spoiler tagged due to length)
Hopefully it helps!
@caitsith
Your math is right, but Kaji's making an assumption you aren't right now.
It could help to go back and look at to understand what I'm getting at.
@ftxnhxyy
That's a good point. It might be the same case with what I suggested with 63 earlier.
@Takoshi
I'm doubtful with regards to Law 4, since the only cards that can truly be in the calamity state are . Seems like yet another odd case of skewed advantage. Then again, I can't come up with...
