This is kinda hilarious. As some fans of 3K will know, Liu Bei was no saint in the actual romance, so I'm not too surprised there's some fiction with an insert replacing him. Still, can't get the stench of masturbatory self-congratulation off the writing...

This manga is 75% an unabashed love letter to Japanese culture/food and it's great. The other 25% is breaking your back working for a company that doesn't care about you which, in a way, is also about Japanese culture, lol

I love how American Ootsuki always shows up as the straight shooter.

One of my favourite aspects of this manga is the outflowing love the author has for his own country and the various bits within.
