Oh, no continuation of last week's story...? That's pretty morbid to leave it at that. The opening domestic scene was, well– I ship it.

It's fantastic that there's quite a bit of logic applied to how the spirits in this series work despite the initial gaglike premise. The addition of a character who understands all of that and reacts to the MC's strange circumstances really makes it more interesting.

New girl is pretty selfish in a pinch even when it comes to humans lol... but that in itself is charming This chapter really upped the tension! And it was great!

Delightful mystery story! I love the clear logic with which the mystery is extracted from the home layouts, and the additional contortions of the narrative are folded in in a way that makes it hard to put it down. Can't wait to see where this one goes.

I love all of her asides about work and relationships throughout this account of cancer treatment. I know her cancer wasn't the most serious kind, but it really makes dealing with it feel less terrifyingly world-stopping. Like, of course you keep living your life? As expected of her, though...

Bringing the full collection of Shigurui for somebody to read in the hospital... I love her. I'd love to check out more of her work someday. She's really lived a colorful life, and she's great at relaying it to audiences to boot.

I love this chapter, it felt themed around life after people have exited your life. Granny is gone, but he can still remember her through her recipes and share her with those who never met her. Hideki may have gone back to Yamagata, but new friends are still waiting to enter Hiroto's life in...
