It's not really salt, just amusement that people think stories should be incredibly straightforward and have no twists or obstacles or whatnot. It happens a lot with romance stories, where people demand superficial, sweet fluff and feel that any detours somehow risk the relationship they stan...

And honestly, it feels more like a fantasy aimed at an older female demographic. Takkun is the ideallized one here. I think we're really supposed to be looking at this from Ayako's perspective. Personally I find it refreshing as a result. I don't see any need to force it to be a story to...

"This character looks just like Takkun!" Yeah, no kidding--the artist used exactly the same character design. Usually they make an effort to make the characters at least slightly different so it's more believable. But if you flip the pages back and forth you can see there's no difference at all.

I don't know if we have to worry about this manga getting dragged down with the technical details. It's pretty soft as far as that stuff goes.
