This story is so braindead...sigh. It'd be one thing if the conversation was related to the fight. And another if they were acting like the fight was trivial. But to have a character show concern about the fight, yet still spend his effort chatting about other topics...it's just not possible to...

I'm glad to see this particular thread wrapping up--I like tree moment it has led to, but the journey was a bit long. Of course there are all these LN readers dropping hints about awful drama on the way, but...I do really enjoy this story in any case.

This story continues to exceed my expectations every chapter.

Of all the series that needed more chapters, this wasn't one of them...but this was never a story that was concerned about what we want.

As is tradition for this manga, what started out looking like some unhealthy exploitive fetish stuff turned into something heartwarming at the end.

I'd really just like to see a series where the female MC is chubby but designed for the audience to cheer for her like this...without having it be about her becoming skinnier. You know? Like can't we just have even one such character who captures our hearts and just happens to be overweight?

Aggghhh...this is my favorite running manga, but it doesn't seem wildly popular, so I'm not confident about another group picking it up. I can't translate, but this story is very important to me...I'm certainly willing to do other work on it if needed.

Wow, this character is basically Frank Grimes. Mizuki, or "Grimy" as she liked to be known... It's amazing that what should have been a beautiful moment completing the circle of Tomoko's growth became, instead, a spontaneous failure out of nowhere. Very on-brand. Asuka really sees the world...

I think the explanation is that he wasn't calling the boy cute. The boy reminded him of Akira, and he was thinking about how cute she is. That's basically what he said, although it was a little ambiguous. But I think he was consistent in what he said.

Mangadex comments always have been and probably always will be full of people with endless revenge fantasies. They have no interest in seeing people change for the better or uphold ideals. They just want to see "bad people suffer". Their attitude isn't that bad things should stop happening to...

The art has always been good...it's just that for a long time, the subjects weren't what you'd call pretty. But now everyone gets to be pretty.

Overall, such a great story with likable characters. But I was really really hoping for a final page with those wedding dresses. 😞
