But the tweet says "including this chapter 37, there are 3 chapters left," and this is chapter 38...meaning 39 is the last chapter. (It also says "you probably noticed after reading this" rather than "it seems that I somehow noticed the series" :P)

@HYBRID_BEING It wasn't particularly exciting. The only tongue-twistery part was just "senshuu sen'en de sokkusu setto."

Right? Same with the "empathy" thing. He claimed to have empathy there, but he didn't bat an eye when his attendants took out an entire city. But maybe this is the kind of writing you'd expect for a shounen manga. :P

"It wasn't much of an opponent" probably should have been translated as "I was no match for it," as indicated by the MC questioning "You couldn't beat it!?" in the very next frame. I'm guessing the original Japanese there was 相手にならなかった.

This feels... a lot like the original Doctor Who series.

I thought it was pretty obvious what was on the missing page from the context. Then I checked. Yeah, it was pretty obvious. :P
