@_____________ They're all just normal links, there shouldn't be anything preventing you from doing it. Try again. If you're still sure it doesn't work, what browser are you using?

"Fit to screen" option on the default reader

^ Yeah there's unfortunately not really anything I can do with stitched double pages that doesn't involve arbitrarily overriding the user's settings. If the image is that large then that's what it is. The only real fix is to ask scanlators to stop doing it.

    delay for unregistered viewing :rejected:

This would do absolutely nothing to combat scraping bots since they can just make accounts. Unless they're idiots who already get caught in our filters, they usually don't want to make themselves too conspicuous either. We've messed around with them sometimes for fun, but it's not really a...

Please don't have notifications tucked under username menu.

On a more serious note, I understand the frustration with the notifications being buried under the usermenu, although personally my biggest issue with it is how far the mouse has to travel and the several other menu items surrounding the correct item, causing unnecessary cognitive load. The...

Please have forum notifications separate from comment notifications.

@truepurple No, I mean they're quite literally the same thing. Comment threads ARE forum threads. They use the exact same code, the same database, everything, there's literally no difference whatsoever. They're just rendered in a slightly different way in some views. If you don't like the...

    Offline / private manga reader

There's a limitation in browsers when it comes to reading local files in that the user MUST explicitly open each and every file through either a file dialog or drag and drop. The security reasons for why browsers can't just automatically open any file on the filesystem they want should be...

    Offline / private manga reader

Technically already is especially since the code isn't obfuscated, but should be easier when I (god knows when) get around to writing the next version and putting it in a public repo. I'll try to make it a bit less completely married to MD. Doing something like drag and dropping a zip file with...

Please don't have notifications tucked under username menu.

You still have to click twice total because there are several kinds of notifications (and making separate top-level icons for each one doesn't seem like the greatest idea), but at least middle clicking on the menu icon directly opens a new tab to the default mention notifications

    Musashi-kun to Murayama-san wa Tsukiatte Mita. - Ch. 32

@SoaringPegasus Thanks, I don't really have time to continue this myself, which is pretty obvious. If you happen to have the volumes bought from Amazon, let me know if you'd like better-quality raws.

Search/Tag - Last Update filtered by preferred translated language. :planned:

The chapters are indexed by upload date so when we're getting the latest n chapters (for the front page) mysql doesn't need to look through the entire chapter table. Actually, for follows I think it in fact does in order to get a total count for the pagination, but that's a terrible system I...

Search/Tag - Last Update filtered by preferred translated language. :planned:

@AbyssalMonkey Chapter count isn't remotely the same thing as ordering manga based on the latest updated language

Phantom chapters clogging up lists. Is there a way to remove ALL chapters NOT on mangadex from all site pages?

Group hiding is a planned feature and it should address this issue eventually Reminder that we're not affiliated with MangaPlus in any way, shape or form, we just link to their chapters so people can get notified, keep track of reads and discuss them on mangadex

    Ecchi and the semi-useless tag

Don't take my words as the law here, but from what I understand our usage of Ecchi is essentially a "content warning" tag (which is why it's yellow) meant to signify "somewhat sexual" content, in contrast to clean content and outright smut (typically non-explicit sex). It's not really meant as a...

    Comment Like/Dislike features... Onegai?? :rejected:

Once again: Like/Dislike buttons are a hard reject. I would even argue they're literally unhealthy for both the community and the individuals, see the news about Instagram like hiding for reference. If we ever implement "reaction" buttons, they'll probably work something like Discord's emoji...
