So after 10 years the demon lords arrive, and Rubia (according to Isaac) will be alive for at least 10 years, at which point Succubus was around to befriend skele-bro. Feels like more than a coincidence.

The first time rift-knight appeared, he gave skele-bro a couple skills like he was trying to help him, then this time around he throws him into a time rift? So maybe he was trying to help him again somehow? Possibly to get his story on track with someone's plan?

I remember a Korean movie where they seemed to phrase their use of magic as changing the world, so I'm thinking Mr. Lady's barrier isn't a "don't change world around me" thing so much as "anti-magic".

Maybe a way of thinking of it is the fairy's attach themselves to the inner face to base their own identities on, and those inner identities of the face's act as better sustenance when the face has to suppress that identity so that eventually they can fully take over the body.
