Anyone remember the state of the website at that point? Solo Levelling would basically DDOS the site, we had a 503 error every other day basically, and the website was perpetually slow. Still liked parts of that design better than whatever exists today, because in my experience it was less laggy...

If I try to format something bold, the text is bolded. If I try to format something to be inline code, it displays the raw BBcode, similar to the Media tag. Unlike the media tag, inline code should not be hard to implement as it formats current text rather than adding in embed HTML.

I would like to know what I'm getting into before clicking on a chapter. I am aware the API returns page counts for chapter lists so it shouldn't be too hard to display the page counts.

Imgur is going down the shithole and nuking a fuck ton of content so there goes the only image host that was embeddable on this forum. Will we be allowed to upload straight to this forum or are there plans to allow another external image host?

If I search for mangas with chapters only in English, it'll often give me mangas that have no actual chapters on MangaDex in English, but have a link to the "Official English" version. A way should exist to disable this behavior.

If I visit for example https://mangadex.org/chapter/6a76cbaf-303b-4b5a-bb65-7d8c826da2d0/4 (tagged as porn and I have that disabled in my settings), the comments button in the side panel on the right is infinitely loading.

User titles (such as my Power Uploader) are showing up as white or translucent instead of their normal color on the forum. Example:

On a mobile phone, it is really easy to quickly upvote posts, but if I upvote a post while a previous upvote is still being processed (it takes around 1-2s to process an upvote), then it cancels the last upvote and I have to go do it again. This feels like a bug to me.

If I go to, for example chapter 46 on https://mangadex.org/title/737a846b-2e67-4d63-9f7e-f54b3beebac4/please-go-home-akutsu-san and try to make a thread, it says I'm the first one, but when I open the link there are already hundreds of comments there.

The chapter has spinning circles but once a few images load in the website freezes and Chrome crashes.

I made two test reports to my user account right now and would expect them to show up at https://mangadex.org/my/reports. However, the latest report is from 9 months ago, and if I filter by user reports only there are no reports there. I checked the request in the devtools and the server...

Currently it seems to end at "Dex-chan lover". I think more titles should be added, maybe spaced out so that it's not necessary to make a gazillion titles. I think up to 2k reaction score should be a good target for the next 6 months.

Back in the old days the website would start throwing 50x errors every few days, and the error page became a staple. Now, ever since the forum came back, the site seems to be dying every few days, just like the old days.

Right now I have to open up the sidebar to get to the comments. I think it would be nice if the comment icon was present both at the beginning and at the end of a chapter.
